We want to take this time and thank you and congratulate you for all your efforts with our Parks. Our organization offers programs to our children throughout the year, and we utilize the ball fields at Sandhill Road and Duck Pond Field in Wantagh.

The new playground at Sandhill has become a bright spot in the community. It also gives our families a safe place for their children to play while they enjoy a ball game. Your effort at Duck Pond Field has been equally impressive. The new drain that you recently installed will give us the opportunity to offer our children more games.

In the recent past, we would be forced to cancel games for our children after a heavy rain, even if the sun was shining. Now with the new drain, and the new pavement, and the new bathrooms, we will spend more time playing ball and less time waiting to play.
