The MacArthur varsity football team dropped to 1-3 for the season as they were defeated by Hewlett on Saturday, Oct. 9. The final score was 38-0. Vin D'Accordo was six for nine, passing for 100 yards and Joe Cammarata had three catches for 56 yards. Ryan Small led all rushers with 27 yards on 10 carries.

Defensively, Bruce Popko, Scott Rodgers, Anthony Vecchione and Steven Walkdeck each had four tackles to lead the team. The team travels to Bellmore's JFK High School on Sat., Oct 16 at 2 p.m. for their next game.
