The Island Trees Boys Varsity Soccer team defeated Wantagh 2-0. T.J. Fabis and Mike Topel scored goals in the first half to give the Dawgs an early lead. The defense would hold strong and not give Wantagh a chance to score to give the Dawgs the victory.

The Boys Varsity Soccer team won a tough game vs. Roslyn 5-2. After falling behind early in the game 2-0, the boys fought back and tied the game 2-2 before the half with two goals by Brian Balvin. Early in the second half, the boys took the lead for good with a goal by Matt Burgos off a Christian Salvage throw-in. Sean Thomson and Christian Salvage both added goals to seal the game. Mike Topel had two assists, while John Oliveri and Sean Thomson each added one. Russell Davis had four saves and Kyle Riegel added one in the Bulldogs' win.

The Island Trees Boys J.V. Soccer team defeated Wantagh 2-0. Matt D'Albenzio had both goals with assists by Matt Brownstone and Dan Fazio. Keeping the shutout safe in goal were Bobby Colleluori and Mike Annarella. Their next game is against Roslyn.

The Girls Varsity Volleyball team continues to work hard every day striving for their first win after losing nine seniors last year. This is a rebuilding year for the Lady Bulldogs. The team is being led by captains Grace Vinberg and Sarah Hess. The team is improving every game, bringing it all together and looking forward to a successful second half.

The Girls J.V. Volleyball team suffered a tough loss to Great Neck South by a score of 3-1. Outstanding games by Lauren Mahlstadt, who made some big time digs and Sue Yao, stepped up big with five aces during the second game.

The Girls JV Volleyball team lost in a close match with MacArthur. Andrea Fragoletti brought the team back into game three by getting eight points off of serve, four of them being aces. Nicole Doller and Catie Hollett had another strong game on the net with a combined eight kills.
