The spectators packed the stands, the cheerleaders looked great, and you sensed that the players were ready to rock-and-roll. The captains went to the center of the gridiron, and Levittown won the coin toss and elected to receive the ball first. As the players lined up on their respective sides, it was known that this was going to be an exciting game against a big Farmingdale team.

As the kick sailed into the air, RB Anthony Writington pulled it down and started a spectacular 70-yard return with spins and moves that would make the professionals jealous, for their first score. It was a great way to start the day. On the next possession Farmingdale came back and scored, making it an exciting game. The next score came when quarterback Frank Baglivo threw a perfect spiral to running back Arton Lekaj, for a 45-yard reception and touchdown.

The third score was a march down the field, with running back Lekaj finally pounding the ball into the endzone running off the left tackle. Nick Ferrara converted all of his extra points, six to be exact, through the uprights with room to spare. Those kicks would have made it from the 30-yard line. With under two minutes left, Levittown got the ball with the score 30-24, as Farmingdale missed their last extra point. They started their drive and moved down field but were running out of time. With 16 seconds left, quarterback Baglivo threw a screen pass to Lekaj, who ran 60 yards and was caught on the two-yard line. This would have set them up to win the game with a few seconds left, but it was not meant to be as the play was called back on a procedure call, and time ran out on them. This was a great game to watch and participate in.

Everyone played great, and should be proud of how they handled themselves. It was a hard fought game, with tremendous hitting and ball handling. These players are: CJ Auld, Charles Barnes, Anthony Bencivierga, Tom Broschardt, Nick Butrico, Rob Castillo, Joe Cataldo, Brian Connors, Nick DeFranco, Phil Dimberio, Jorge Fernandez, Joe Fiore, Nick Grossjung, Carlos Gomez, Tiberio Herrara, Alex Jose, Kyle Kriner, Stefan Leslie, Jesse Mathrese, Maritza Mazzara, Jimmy McNamara, Bobby Montwill, Monica Morace, Darren Moran, Brandon Mulholland, Nick Murray, Anthony Pascalli, Don Polite, Dylan Saccone, Greg Shoenstein, Joe Sorissi, TJ Speicher, Nick Thomas, Adam Vasquez, Robert Ward and Ray Zdrodowski.
