Thank you for giving me the opportunity to express my appreciation in the name of PAWS to the people who made this benefit possible.

My first thanks goes to the Levittown Tribune for your front page article on Sept. 3 informing your readers of this fund-raiser and the purpose of PAWS.

Special thanks to Governor's Comedy Cabaret of Levittown and manager Jimmy Finn, as well as his very efficient staff, for generously hosting this event for PAWS for the eighth time.

Many thanks to the wonderful comedians, Jason B. Plawner (J. Jay Boyd) and Joe Starr who volunteered their time and talent to make this event a success.

I most especially want to thank John Joseph who made time in his very busy and demanding schedule as an entertainer to emcee this event for the 11th time to raise funds for PAWS. His unique, nationally acclaimed musical comedy routine with his immensely talented partner John Barillaro made this comedy night a memorable event.

I certainly want to thank the audience who came to Governor's to raise funds for Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), an exceptional organization, tirelessly working in our community for the past 28 years.

Thanks to all for helping us to help the animals who have no voice but ours.
