The Levittown Historical Society has announced its second annual House and Garden Contest, where local homeowners can show off their houses and gardening efforts.

Levittown Kiwanis Hosts Annual Father's Day Run
The Levittown Kiwanis Club hosted its eighth annual Father's Day 5K Run last Sunday. Approximately 150 runners participated in this year's run, which started and ended in the parking lot behind Tri County early Father's Day morning. While most participants came from Levittown and surrounding communities, the run also drew athletes from other states and overseas. The overall winner of the run was Robert Howard, who crossed the finish line in 17 minutes, 42 seconds.

LAC to Host 2004 Metro NYS Softball Tournament
The Levittown Athletic Club Girls Softball will be hosting the 2004 Metro New York State 12 and Under Softball Tournament. This double elimination tournament will be held starting Friday, July 9 at 6 p.m. and continue Saturday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. and if needed, the final game will be Monday, July 12 at 6 p.m. All of the games will be played at the Azalea Road Field.
