The Levittown Athletic Club (LAC) hosted its annual All Star Games at Azalea Road on May 16. The weather looked cloudy in the morning but turned into a beautiful day. The Farm Division started the day with Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray, Assemblyman David McDonough and Youth Council President Kevin Regan throwing out a ceremonial first pitch.

The American League, managed by Ruth Babicz, includes girls Deanna Corona, Maggie Carew, Jessica Babicz, Shannon Humenesky, Taylor Rosenthal, Samantha Sherman, Sabrina Gordek, Kelly Durkin, Brittany Ciaramitaro, Amanda Crimarco, Christine Lepis, Jena Cozza, Taylor Torcasso, Joanna Marino and Emily Kardonsky. The National League is managed by Joe Myles and the girls are Hayley Myles, Brianna Lombardo, Tori Tedeschi, Kristen Brown, Cheryl White, Michelle Mase, Nicole Pellegrino, Melissa Pashko, Jamie Krac, Megan McCarthy, Raychel Buda, Danielle Frantino, Amy Zdrodowski, Emily Lyons and Nikki Sweewagen. It was a great game with the National League winning 14 to 10. The MVP for the National League was Tori Tedeschi and Deanna Corona for the American League.

Ron Sportiello managed the Minor League American League and his players were Katie McNamara, Kathryn Bruno, Danielle Doller, Christina Sportiello, Angela Chuisano, Alexa Sussman, Taylor Tedeschi, Samantha Wierzbicki, Jennifer Jean, Shannon Kirk, Kaitlyn McCoy, Jordan Sassano, Ashley Ruggiero, Colleen O'Neill and Jessica Throz. Valerie Posillico managed the National League and her team was Jessica Johnsen, Marissa Pollina, Franki Posillico, Jacklyn Michelsen, Lindsay Kenney, Jessica Thiessen, Jessica Horan, Michelle Minicozzi, Brittany Tricolla, Kelly Surdo, Erika Crafa, Kristen Hervan, Alyssa Herold, Samantha Uvino and Kimberlee Paladini. The National League won 7 to 1. The National League MVP was Jessica Horan and Shannon Kirk took the honors for the American League.

The Major League Game started with Gary Hudes throwing out the first pitch. Assemblyman Joseph Saladino, arriving from several other events, was able to stop by and speak with the girls and their families. Dena Sarra managed the American League. Her players were Colleen Cunningham, Kristine Cunningham, Shannon Angher, Alyssa Masterocco, Lori Brennan, Melissa Costello, Michelle Frantino, Elizabeth Pecoraro, Jessica Constantine, Christine Davis, Samantha Dugal and Stephanie Gula. The National League was lead by Monica Lanigan and her team players were Tara Lanigan, Deanna Tortorici, Lauren Nelson, Krista Owens, Jennifer D'Aguanno, Lisa Torswick, Courtney Gordek, Kerry Plunkett, Michelle Rueman, Rachel Trager, Kristen Ronzo and Jenna Ronzo. The American League won decisively 15 to 2. The American League MVP was Melissa Costello. The National League winner was Tara Lanigan.

All in all it was a great day. All the girls received free hot dogs, soda and ice cream.
