Robert E. Bennett, of Levittown, died on May 6, 2004. He was past master of Peninsula Lodge, a USAF veteran of the Korean War, an avid Nassau County high school wrestling fan and retired from the Nassau County Parks Dept. Husband of Catherine. Father of Robert C. (Gayle), Joseph E. (Karen), Bill T. and Ronald L. (Betty), (Sue). Brother of Arthur, Rossanne Sargent and Harold. Grandfather of Bob, Nick, Chris, Sarah, Nicole, Daniel, Bill, Michelle, Marta and Robi. Great-grandfather of Nicholas and Sabrina. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Levittown Chapel. Memorial service at the First Presbyterian Church of Levittown Donations may be made to the Bob Bennett Sr. Memorial Wrestling Scholarship Fund, c/o Laura Maddock, 64 Tyrconnell Ave., Massapequa, NY 11762 in his memory.
