Residents and children who want to learn how to bowl can do so this summer. North and South Levittown Lanes and Westbury Bowl are offering three instructional periods, six bowling lessons given in each, during the months of July and August. All residents need to do is register.

Classes are to be taught by qualified on lane instructors and will be geared toward "beginners." Separate sessions for "kids" and "adults." Children must be 8 years of age or older. Each lesson will take one hour to complete.

North Levittown Lanes: Tuesday and Thursday, July 6, 8, 13, 15, 20 and 27; 7 to 8 p.m.

South Levittown Lanes: Tuesday and Thursday, Aug. 3, 5, 10, 12, 17 and 19, 7 to 8 p.m.

Westbury Bowl: Monday and Thursday, Aug. 2, 5, 9, 12, 16 and 19, 7 to 8 p.m.

South Levittown Lanes: Tuesday and Thursday, July 6, 8, 13, 15, 20 and 27, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

North Levittown Lanes: Tuesday and Thursday, Aug. 3, 5, 10, 12, 17 and 19, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Westbury Bowl: Monday and Thursday, July 5, 8, 12, 15, 19 and 22, 4 to 5 p.m.
