La Rosa Brothers Deli Hit With Graffiti
La Rosa Brothers Deli has fallen victim to graffiti hits recently and establishment owners, Sal and Angelo La Rosa, are concerned that they will once again see an increase in such vandalism, with which they are unfortunately far too familiar. About a year and a half ago, the deli, on Wolcott Road in Levittown, was often a location not only popular for graffiti, but other vandalism such as broken beer bottles and damage to its grounds and gardens.

Division Varsity Lacrosse Win First Two Season Games
The boys opened their season against Port Washington in a league game and came out on top with a 14-5 victory. The offense, led by their attack, did a fine job scoring and passing, all three scored. Leading the way was Jimmy Davis, who popped the net four times. Billy Bruckbauer netted three and Sean Hall followed up with one. Midfield had a strong game also, getting to ground balls with good hustle.
With a bunch of new faces on the varsity diamond this year, the Lady Dawgs will have to work real hard to compete in the very tough division they are in.
