Mary Jane Higney, 73 years of age of Loveland, CO, died Jan. 24, 2004 at the home of her son Chuck. She was born Dec. 23, 1930 in Brooklyn to James R. and Rebecca Bell. She married Charles Higney on April 19, 1952 in Queens Village. They lived in Levittown from 1952 until 1975 when they moved to Colorado Springs. She was a registered nurse at Hempstead General Hospital. Survivors include sons, Chuck of Loveland, CO, James of Colorado Springs; daughters, Mary Jane Romano of Castle Rock, CO, Helen Cooper and Anne Marie Lawson, also of Colorado Springs. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mass of Resurrection was held at S. John's RC Church in Loveland. The Higneys lived on Sycamore Ln. for the 23 years in Levittown.
Scott Sheridan Howard Sr., of Levittown, died on March 6, 2004. He worked for IBM for 23 years. He was a Levittown coach of soccer and Little League and assistant scoutmaster of Troop 291. Husband of Mary Beth for 25 years. Father of Scott Jr., Bobby, Daniel and Jeanne Marie. Son of Ann. Brother of Wayne and Tracy. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel. Mass at Holy Family RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.

Grandmother of Gregory Robitaille, Robert Jordan, Janine Farmer, Douglas Jordan and Michael Jordan. Great-grandmother of seven. The family was cared for by the Thomas F.
