East Meadow High School's boys basketball team held its fifth annual fund raiser through the Coaches vs. Cancer program in conjunction with the American Cancer Society.

This year, the team raised $1,300 by acquiring donations throughout the school and it was the best year ever in collecting for this cause. The East Meadow Holiday Basketball Tournament and Alumni game were also vehicles through which the program raised money. Parents, teachers, alumni and the entire community helped in this great cause.
