The eighth-grade Girls Basketball team won its season opener against Packard. The team played a tremendous defensive game to earn the victory. Kristen Burgos led the way with 10 points, Rachel Trager added 6 points and Angelika Paskins had 5 points and a team high 8 rebounds. Jena Leardo, Lauren Lucas, Jessica Greene, Alysha Ciaramitaro and Patricia Brewer each scored 4 points. Gina Ciaravino, Kristin Vesely and Marissa Sciacca each chipped in 2 points to help the team to victory.
