The eighth-grade Girls Basketball team won its season opener against Packard. The team played a tremendous defensive game to earn the victory. Kristen Burgos led the way with 10 points, Rachel Trager added 6 points and Angelika Paskins had 5 points and a team high 8 rebounds.
