On Thursday, Feb. 5, the Nassau County Police Department's 8th Precinct will once again hold a community forum at Levittown Hall, located on the Levittown Parkway in Hicksville.

Inspector George Gudmundsen, commanding officer of the 8th Precinct, will discuss crime and safety issues as well as hear residents' concerns regarding, among other things, quality of life issues in the area. Officers will also discuss goals of the department and department programs, among other issues. Residents are invited to bring their questions and concerns.

Local elected officials, civic and community leaders have been invited to attend along with all residents from the communities which encompass the 8th Precinct, including Farmingdale, Hicksville, Levittown, Bethpage, Plainview, Old Bethpage and North Massapequa. Similar forums have been held in the community, with others planned for the near future.
