As my term as Chief of the Levittown Fire Department comes to an end, I would like to publicly thank the men and women of the Levittown Volunteer Fire Department. These individuals dedicate their lives and give countless hours in training as well as hours of their precious time responding to alarms. They remain prepared and up to date on the newest threats as well as the latest equipment. The members of the Fire-Police Squad are always on scene, directing traffic, so that people can safely proceed, as well as watch for the safety of the members operating at the emergency. From the Ladies Auxiliary who respond to the scene to bring hot drinks to the members, to the Cadet program, who are the future of the fire service, everyone gives 100 percent.

I would also like to extend my sincerest gratitude to the Levittown Board of Fire Commissioners. These people go to every extent to ensure our firefighters have the best, safest and most up to date equipment available, so that they can safely perform the job needed for the residents of the Levittown Fire District. They always have the best interest of the community at heart.

To the residents of the Levittown Fire District, I would like to humbly thank you for your support to the Levittown Fire Department. Your kind words during my campaign for fire commissioner were greatly appreciated. The residents of the fire district came out in record numbers during this election. Because of your support, I was overwhelmingly elected and will continue to serve the Levittown Community. I will continue to do my best to represent you on the district level. I hoped you noticed the "Thank You!" on my campaign signs, which I meant from the bottom of my heart.

I turn this great department over to the capable hands of my 1st Deputy Chief Brian Holt. As the 31st Chief of Department, he will continue to lead the department with pride and honor. He along with his Deputies, Captains, Lieutenants, and members, will continue the professional service that the community of Levittown deserves.

I would lastly like to thank my wife Susan, and children Kaitlin, Ashley and John. To all the dinners and birthdays and holidays when I had to leave to perform "the job" that I swore to uphold. Thank you for your continued support. Wishing everyone a safe and healthy holiday season.
