On November 11, our great nation will once again be celebrating Veterans' Day in honor of all the veterans from all of the wars who gave their life so that we can be free. To commemorate that occasion, Assemblyman David G. McDonough announced the availability of his brochure, "Benefits for Veterans and their Families."

"On behalf of the almost 1.3 million veterans and their families living in New York State, I have supported many of the programs veterans have fought for, helping them to receive important benefits and services," said Assemblyman McDonough. This brochure has valuable information about the many programs and services available through the New York State Division of Veterans' Affairs. Benefits are not awarded automatically-veterans and their families must apply for them.

Anybody interested in obtaining a free copy of this brochure, please contact Assemblyman McDonough's office by either calling 731-8830, writing to the Assemblyman at 3000 Hempstead Turnpike, Levittown, NY 11756, or by e-mail at mcdond@assembly.state.ny.us.

"I am grateful for our veterans' contributions to our country, and pledge my continued dedication to the needs of all veterans," concluded McDonough.
