Assemblyman David G. McDonough announced recently that in affiliation with the Neighborhood Cleaners Association he is participating in the "Coats for Kids" program by seeking the donation of childrens' and adult coats, which will be collected by the Neighborhood Cleaners Association. The 450 members of the NCA will then collect, clean and distribute these outergarments to needy individuals.

"With the cold weather fast approaching, it is time to think of those less fortunate and with the donation of a used coat, be able to provide these individuals with warm outer garments," said McDonough, adding, "it is my privilege to be able to participate in this program."

Anyone interested in making a donation can drop it off at Assemblyman McDonough's District Office at 3000 Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, where there will be a collection box, until Dec. 15. For further information, please call 731-8830.
