Robert W. Salvesen, of Levittown, died on Sept. 12, 2003, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Marrian (nee Hood) for over 53 years. Devoted father to Robert and Edward Salvesen and Terri Gallagher. Loving father-in-law to Barbara Salvesen and Richard Gallagher. Cherished poppie to Robert and Kim, Craig and Aelish, George and Jessica. He was a proud veteran serving in both the Army and Air Force. He purchased his first home in Levittown where his family still resides. He retired from Grumman, Bethpage. Services were held at Dalton's Funeral Home, Levittown. Interment Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Good Shepherd Hospice or the American Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated. Fedele Scalia, of Levittown and Orlando, FL, died on Sept. 17, 2003.
