The Division Avenue Blue Dragons football team will be kicking off their 2003 season with a night game this Thursday evening in Plainedge at 7 p.m. This season comes with significant changes. Coach Fred Bruno has stepped down after 33 years of dedicated service as head coach - the team and the fans extend a great big thanks to Coach Bruno for all his years of hard work and commitment. Coach Ray Weidlein has taken on the responsibilities of head coach after 17 years of coaching experience with 10 of those years as Fred Bruno's assistant. Good Luck to Coach Weidlein and the boys. In addition, the Blue Dragons will be hosting their first night game ever in the history of Division Avenue Varsity football on October 10.
