Help Light the Night With Hope, Raise Funds to Find a Cure
Family and friends of Danielle Lyons experienced the feelings of helplessness, frustration and overwhelming sorrow when the healthy, vibrant 15-year-old was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, only five weeks prior to her death in January of this year. Now, the family is encouraging the community to join them in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk to raise funds to help fight cancer.

Summit Lane Remembers Kenneth Whelan
On March 7, Summit Lane lost a beloved staff member - Kenneth Whelan, head custodian. His death was a shock and a tragedy that hit the school community hard. "Kenny," as he was affectionately known to both staff and parents, had worked in Levittown for 24 years, many of them at Summit Lane.

Division Baseball Scholarships Surpasses $1 Million
With the end of the summer upon them, high schools will start up again as September enters. Not only do the high schools open, but the colleges open their doors as well. With the start of the fall college semester, many of Levittown's grads will try to play collegiate baseball as they further their academic pursuits. The baseball coaching staff at Division Avenue HS is very proud to announce that the graduate baseball players at Division have received over $1 million in baseball scholarship money, going back to 1990.
