Levittown Kiwanis Invites Residents to Show Community Spirit
The Kiwanis Club of Levittown is sponsoring its fourth annual Community Pride Day this Saturday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McLaren field on Loring Road in Levittown.
This event is held annually to give Levittown residents the opportunity to celebrate the community spirit that makes Levittown the great community that it is today. Local organizations are always invited to showcase what is best about their organizations and display their involvement in the community. Community Pride Day is free and open to all members of the community. In addition to having organizations display information about their groups, the event also has plenty of activities for families to enjoy. This year's activities, which are free to all who attend, include face painting, pony rides, fire safety information, blood pressure screenings and a bicycle anti-theft program.
Refreshments will also be available all day, in addition to live music and more.
Originally planned as part of Levittown Kiwanis' 50th Anniversary celebration in 2000, the event was such a success that it was continued as a way for Levittown to showcase all that is good in the community. Everyone is invited to McLaren Field on May 10 to celebrate Levittown's Community Pride with the Kiwanis Club of Levittown.
