Senator Kemp Hannon announced that servicemen and women and their families can contact his office to receive material covering important information regarding the rights and benefits for America's Armed Forces and to also obtain American "Support Our Troops" flags, all free of charge.

The materials available to servicemen and women and their families covers topics such as family health care options, education services and various types of insurance policies. Hannon said, "Many men and women from our area are serving our country and their families have questions regarding the status of things such as health care, finances, legal and other benefit issues. My office will be able to assist by answering questions or by directing callers to the appropriate state or federal agency that can provide assistance."

Hannon also encourages all to obtain the 11" x 17" flags from his office and display them in the window of homes, offices, libraries or classrooms. He said, "Displaying our flag not only symbolizes the freedom we enjoy as United States citizens, but it also sends a positive message to the servicemen and women that we support them and they are in our thoughts."
