Residents who would like assistance in dealing with a problem involving a state agency or who would like to share some ideas regarding legislation can meet with State Assemblyman David McDonough during his mobile office hours at the Levittown Public Library next Friday, March 21, from 1:30 to 4 p.m.
According to McDonough, he and members of his office staff will be on hand at the library, located at 1 Bluegrass Lane in Levittown, to answer questions and help individuals gain access to important resources in state government. McDonough will have informational brochures available regarding that state's Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage (EPIC) Program, programs available to veterans, preparing students for college, and others.
"There is no better way for me to connect with residents than to go into local communities and listen to their concerns," McDonough said. "I want everyone to know that I have an 'open door' policy, and my district office staff and I are available to help families and individuals with problems no matter how big or small. I look forward to meeting with residents to discuss how we can improve the quality of life in our communities or to help solve a specific constituent problem."
Residents interested in attending do not need to make an appointment and will receive assistance on a first come, first served basis. For additional information, contact the assemblyman's district office at 731-8830.
