Legislator Dennis Dunne is announcing that the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) and the Sustainable Energy Alliance of Long Island (SEA) will be holding joint public hearings to discuss Long Island's energy concerns. These hearings are designed to allow the public to respond to Long Island energy needs and to prove input for future consideration. All residents who attend will be allowed to ask questions and make recommendations that will be considered during the final decision making process. These are the following times and locations for the meetings:

Wednesday, Feb. 5 - Uniondale

3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

Teleconference Center, Omni Building (lower level)

333 Earle Ovington Blvd., Uniondale

Thursday, Feb. 13 - Brentwood

3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

Suffolk County Community College, Brentwood Campus

Wednesday, Feb. 26 - Southampton

2:30-6:30 p.m.

Southampton Town Hall, 116 Hampton Road
