In the spirit of giving, the thoughts of peace on Earth and good will to men/women/children may sometimes get lost in the shuffle of everyday life. In Kiwanis, we can continue to display these ideas every day, in many ways. To those who have given of themselves in this season-donating toys and food, working with our youth and senior citizens or in some other way, whatever your holiday is, may all who are in their hour of need find good health and good fortune theirs all year around.

The preceding was a quote from our past, eloquent Kiwanis Club President, Mr. Tom Maun.
***
The Levittown Kiwanis Club wishes everyone in the Levittown Community a Healthy and Happy New Year.
***
What better way to start the New Year but with health and happiness.
***
The Levittown Kiwanis Club cannot guarantee you health; but we can guarantee that you will be happy. All you have to do is JOIN THE LEVITTOWN KIWANIS CLUB. If you join, you cannot help but be happy. When you see how the club gives back to the community, it brings a smile to your face and many times a tear to your eye.
***
Are you interested? Please come and see what the club is all about
***
Would you like to help us help young children? Then join us.
***
Would you like to join an organization of community people who give back to their community? Are you interested in joining? Please come to one of our meetings for a "look see." I guarantee you'll be impressed.

Please save all your soda/drink flip top tabs and all your Campbell soup labels and General Mills box tops and turn them in to the Levittown Kiwanis Club at one of our meetings. You may ask: why labels and soda tabs? The labels and box tops go to St. Jude's Ranch for Children, which they redeem for a monetary amount. The soda tabs go to the Bellmore Fire Department and Fork Lane School in Hicksville. They are redeemed for monetary donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
