On Dec. 10, Levittown voters re-elected Fire Commissioner Timothy Courtney. He will be serving his fourth term on the Levittown Board of Fire Commissioners.

Courtney is well-known in the fire service. He was captain of Rescue Co. 4, a deputy chief for six years and the chief of department during 1986-1987.

Commissioner Courtney also serves on the New York State Arson Board, to which he was appointed by Gov. George Pataki.
