The seventh-grade boys basketball team opened the season with a loss to Merrick Avenue. After a slow start, the boys made nice adjustments in the second half to make the game much more competitive. The team was led by Justin Heisig, who drive the lane for eight points and played solid defensively for the Bulldogs. Ronnie Modik chipped in five points, Frankie Raglivo had four and Matt Condy, Matt D'Albenzio, Jesse Matarese, Bobby Colleluori and James Murphy each tossed in a basket.
