Local Runners and Walkers Invited to 15th Annual Ho Ho Ho Holiday Run
A special invitation has been issued to runners and walkers from the Levittown and surrounding communities to join in on a morning of festive family fun and fitness at the 15th Annual Ho Ho Ho Holiday 5Krun, to be held on the roads of Bethpage on Saturday morning, Dec. 21.

Island Trees Middle School Athletics
The seventh-grade boys basketball team opened the season with a loss to Merrick Avenue. After a slow start, the boys made nice adjustments in the second half to make the game much more competitive. The team was led by Justin Heisig, who drive the lane for eight points and played solid defensively for the Bulldogs. Ronnie Modik chipped in five points, Frankie Raglivo had four and Matt Condy, Matt D'Albenzio, Jesse Matarese, Bobby Colleluori and James Murphy each tossed in a basket. The team will open their season at home against Seaford.
