It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and the sidelines were packed with fans. As each player was announced the crowd erupted in applause. The Bad Boyz were ready to play some football.
Gray kicked off and the defense quickly stopped Wantagh and gained possession of the ball. On Wantagh's punt, Craig Staub and Tom Celentani combined efforts for a block, giving Gray excellent field position. On the next play, Ronnie Modik was able to run down the sideline and score. On Gray's next possession, OB Celentani led his team down the field. A great 38-yard run by Brett Tom put the ball on the seven-yard line. Chris Brumber was able to drive the ball into the endzone on the following play.
Early in the second quarter, Wantagh's defense played hard but they were unable to stop the power of Gray's offense. On one of Gray's favorite plays, the pitch pass, (from Celentani to Baglivo to Modik), Modik made an unbelievable catch, splitting the defense and coming back to catch the ball. He was then able to run a few yards to score his second TD of the game. With the score Gray 18 - Wantagh 0, Chris Brumber, Tom Celentani, Ronnie Modik, and Brett Tom were pulled from the game. Wantagh was able to score late in the quarter, bringing the score to 18-6. With time running out in the half, Wantagh kicked off and Brett Tom ran the ball 67 yards for Gray's fourth TD of the game. Baglivo was successful in scoring the extra point. The second half was a defensive battle with both teams unable to score. The final score was Gray 25 - Wantagh 6.
Pony Gray has had an unbelievable 12-0 season. Not only did they win every game, they totally dominated every game. Gray scored an average of 35 points a game, while giving up only an average of 8 points a game. The Bad Boyz should be very proud of themselves.

Gray's season got off to a shaky start this year. Our head coach was injured in an accident and we didn't know when he would be back. Special thanks to Coach Ralph and Coach Ron who held in all together until he returned. We thank the coaches for teaching the Bad Boyz what it means to be part of a team.
Remember, once a Bad Boy always a Bad Boy. It's been a great ride, thanks Pony Gray.
The following is a special message for our head coach. We know how much it took for you to come back and we want you to know we really appreciate all that you have done for us.
Our Coach
Our coach is a man that we admire,
He always knows how to light our fire.
He has taught us all the rules of the game,
In football and in life, the rules are the same.
Always do your best, give it all that you've got.
To do any less, well acceptable it's not.
Play hard and play strong,
If you don't, it's just wrong!
Even though you weren't on the field at the start,
Know you were with us in our mind and our heart.
We were a little nervous when we walked up to the line,
But deep down, we knew we'd be fine.
We all pulled together, we became a stronger team,
We were on a mission, or so it would seem.
You came back for us, it was what you had to do,
Now we would go out there and win it for you!
We were able to complete a perfect season,
We want you to know that you were the reason.
Our season may be over, the game days gone,
But the memories of the Bad Boyz will always live on!
