First year Levittown Panthers Sr. and Jr. baseball teams concluded the fall season in grand fashion. The 13-year-old Sr. Panthers entered the Triple Crown Fall Tournament held in Holbrook and placed 2nd. This qualified the Panthers for the Triple Crown Nationals held in St. Augustine, FL. Manager Kenny Nizinski and the Sr. Panthers geared up and headed down south. The Panthers represented themselves well and unfortunately were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. Congratulations goes out to the players of the Levittown Sr. Panthers Fall Team, Triple Crown Tournament Team and the Florida Team; Kenny Nizinski, Chris Sanabria, Adam Montvillo, Danny Karcher, Travis Ratliff, Mathew Mancz, Bryan Arzberger, Joey Melendez, Tom Addair, Mike Surdo, James Sanacore, James Guzikowski, Ryan Nagelberg, Anthony Alvino, Ray Brandenberger, Joe Alberti, Manager Kenny Nizinski, Coaches Gerard Desmond and Rich Melendez. Jr. Panthers who played on the Florida team were John Nizinski, Chris Darpa, Michael Lagalante and Stephen McNamara.
The 12-year-old Jr. Panthers stormed through the fall season. The Panthers went undefeated (11-0) in the UFOU Fall Long island League. After leading the league in runs scored, runs against and home runs, we look forward to much more from the Jr. Panthers in the upcoming Spring Season.
