I am writing to extend my heartfelt thanks to the voters of the 8th Senatorial District for re-electing me to the New York State Senate. It has been both a privilege and an honor to serve in the Senate and I look forward to the next two years.

As I embark on a new term, I will continue to maintain my focus on education, providing much needed tax relief, health care and the environment. Working together with so many residents we have been able to make great strides in improving our community and a continued partnership.

Furthermore, I want to extend my congratulations to Assemblyman Dave McDonough on his overwhelming victory. I look forward to working with him during the upcoming legislative session.

Once again, my sincerest thanks to all for allowing me the continued privilege of representing you in the New York State Senate.
