Division Avenue Dragons will be celebrating their homecoming this Saturday, Nov. 9. The parade will kickoff from Wisdom Lane at 11:30 a.m. The parade will include, among other things, floats, banners, cars, the Wisdom Lane Band, Division Avenue Marching Band and the homecoming court. Following the parade, the Dragons will host Floral Park at 2 p.m. Come out and support the team in their last game of the 2002 season.

This game follows the Dragons' victory last week over Jericho, 34-6. Tailback Sean Gilbert rushed for 166 yards on 14 carries, including three touchdowns. John Colucci rushed for 96 yards on five carries, setting up three of Divison's five touchdowns. Jim Davis scored with a 35-yard run and James Hickey caught a six-yard pass to secure a fifth touchdown. Frank (the foot) Melhus made four of his five extra point attempts. The defense basically shut down Jericho. Colucci led the defense with 11 tackles, aided by Luis Fernandez with nine tackles.
