Levittown West Little League announced that it will expand its charter with Little League to encompass a Sr. Little League and Girls Softball program. The age groups for the programs will be 13-and 14-year-olds for the Sr. League program and 8 to 14-year-olds for the Girls Softball Program. The Senior League program will play travel inter-league baseball with other little leagues that are members in the Little League District. The Girls Softball program depending on the number of girls who register, will have an in-house program and also play travel inter-league with other girls softball programs in the district.

They will also put together All Star tournament teams from these new programs that will compete in the Williamsport Little League tournament for the district championship.

Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Levittown Library, Meeting Room A

Oct. 25 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Wisdom Lane School Auditorium

Oct. 30 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Levittown Library, Meeting Room A

Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Levittown Library, Meeting Room A

All new players to the League must supply a birth certificate at registration.
