Levittown West Little League Expands its Charter
Levittown West Little League announced that it will expand its charter with Little League to encompass a Sr. Little League and Girls Softball program. The age groups for the programs will be 13-and 14-year-olds for the Sr. League program and 8 to 14-year-olds for the Girls Softball Program. The Senior League program will play travel inter-league baseball with other little leagues that are members in the Little League District. The Girls Softball program depending on the number of girls who register, will have an in-house program and also play travel inter-league with other girls softball programs in the district.

Generals Earn Homecoming Victory
MacArthur High School celebrated its homecoming on Sunday, Sept. 28, by hosting the Calhoun Colts. The game began under ideal weather conditions as MacArthur hoped to improve to 2 wins and 0 losses on the season. The very first play from scrimmage indicated the type of game that this would turn out to be. Dan Walters, Luke Ingram, and Gian Villante all converged on the Calhoun running back and dropped him hard for a 2-yard loss. A defensive struggle was under way, one that would see the Generals escape with a hard earned 7-6 victory.
