Generals Earn Homecoming Victory
MacArthur High School celebrated its homecoming on Sunday, Sept. 28, by hosting the Calhoun Colts. The game began under ideal weather conditions as MacArthur hoped to improve to 2 wins and 0 losses on the season. The very first play from scrimmage indicated the type of game that this would turn out to be. Dan Walters, Luke Ingram, and Gian Villante all converged on the Calhoun running back and dropped him hard for a 2-yard loss. A defensive struggle was under way, one that would see the Generals escape with a hard earned 7-6 victory.
