Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. and Assemblyman David G. McDonough announced recently their joint success in obtaining a $10,000 grant for the Levittown South-Wantagh Baseball League. According to Fuschillo, these funds will be used to maintain three fields, including a new field recently acquired in order to account for the growing number of children who join the league each year.

"The acquisition of a new field was vital in order to meet the demands of our growing membership," said Rich Barry, sponsorship chairman for Levittown South-Wantagh Baseball. "We extend our thanks to Senator Fuschillo and Assemblyman McDonough, whose efforts made it possible to maintain this field, along with our two additional fields."

"Little League promotes healthy living and creates lifelong friendships and memories for our community's youth," said Fuschillo. "It is my pleasure to provide this benefit to the members of Levittown South-Wantagh Baseball."

"Little League teaches children the importance of teamwork, and how to be a good sport," said McDonough. "I am glad to have worked with Senator Fuschillo in securing this grant."
