I want to give everyone a special reminder about the Levittown Kiwanis Club Garage Sale on Saturday, Sept. 14 in the MacArthur High School parking lot starting at 8 a.m. Please remember all the monies earned go back into the Levittown community; sending area children to summer camp and giving scholarships to high school students.

Please donate your garage sale items to the Levittown Kiwanis Club and know someone will be well served in the community by your actions.

Please save all your soda/drink flip-top tabs and all your Campbell soup labels and General Mills box tops and turn them in to the Levittown Kiwanis Club at one of our meetings. You may ask: why labels and soda tabs? The labels and box tops go to St. Jude's Ranch for Children, where they redeem them for a monetary amount. The soda tabs go to the Bellmore Fire Department and Fork Lane School in Hicksville. They are redeemed for monetary donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
