A US Army veteran of WWII, he was a retired superintendent for Belmont Lake State Park. He worked for the LI State Park Commission for over 40 years. Husband of the late Dorothy. Father of Courtlandt B. Jr. (Diane), Douglas (Carole) and Mark (Lynn). Brother of Bill. Grandfather of six. Great-grandfather of two. The family was cared for by the Thomas F.
