After four very successful and productive years as St. Bernard's Basketball President, Skip Abrams is stepping down.
Abrams took over an already successful program and added his own touches. With a group of highly motivated and talented board members, he was able to take this program to a new level. The time that was spent on this program was appreciated by all. His dedication and sense of fairness was apparent to all who knew him. For four years, he took the responsibility of running this incredible program of over 1,200 children. During this time, Abrams was able to do all this with great listening skills, patience and most of all a terrific sense of humor.
As St. Bernard's says thank you to him, they are happy and consider themselves lucky that they don't have to say good-bye. Abrams will be remaining on the board and his input will remain invaluable.
As he moves on he knows that he has left the program in the hands of two men who have as much love and respect for the program as he does. New Co-Presidents Fred Auer and Barry Nagelberg come in with many years of board experience and countless hours of time dedicated to the running of the program. St. Bernard's Basketball will continue to grow and thrive under the guidance of these two gentlemen.
