Town of Hempstead Offers Residents 'One-Stop' Passport Services
The Town of Hempstead is now offering residents a "one-stop passport shop" in the town clerk's office. Town Supervisor Rich Guardino and Town Clerk Kate Murray announced this week that full passport services are now available to residents on the first floor of Hempstead Town Hall, the only place on Long Island where residents can complete the entire passport application process under one roof.

Cantiague Park Senior Men's Golf League Update
The last time they met, members of the Cantiague Park Senior Men's Golf League did not play their usual tournament, rather they played a game called "Best Ball" or "Scramble" where play is done as a team and not as an individual. Each member of the team tees off and whoever has the best shot leaves his ball there and the rest of the team picks up their balls and everybody hits their second shot from that spot. Then they do the same thing with their third short and fourth and fifth if necessary until someone puts the ball into the hole. Only the best ball for each shot is counted and the score is for the whole team.
