Funeral Mass at St. Bernard RC Church. Cremation private. Francis James Budd, 71, of Ona, WV, formerly of Levittown, died on May 25, 2002 in St. Mary's Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born on April 15, 1930, and was a retired supervisor for the telephone company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ruth Budd. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Francis J. "Frank" and Rebecca Budd of Hurricane, WV, and Kenneth William and Carol Budd of Levittown; one sister, Elsie Short of NY; two brothers, Arthur Budd and Charles Budd, both of NY; five grandchildren, Ashley Burris, Francis J. "Jamie" Budd, Joshua Budd, Keri Budd and Steven Budd. Arrangements were made by the Heck Funeral Home, Milton, WV. Funeral services on May 29. Burial will be at a later date.
