Paul Jurgens Foundation Holds First Annual Benefit
Family members of Paul Jurgens, a Port Authority Officer who lost his life on Sept. 11, gathered with friends and fellow Port Authority Officers for the first annual Paul Jurgens Foundation Benefit Dinner Dance, which was held last month at Antun's in Hicksville. Over 350 friends, neighbors and fellow workers celebrated Officer Jurgens' memory and provided significant support for the foundation.

MacArthur Generals Varsity Baseball
The MacArthur Generals Varsity Baseball Team has completed their season in impressive fashion once again after a three game sweep of the New Hyde Park Gladiators. The Generals stand alone atop Nassau County's League B-I with a record of 16-1, and will enter the playoffs as one of the top seeded teams in the Class B tournament.
