Attention all volunteer firefighters: the 43rd Annual Volunteer Firefighter's Bowling Tournament for the Championship of Nassau and Suffolk Counties is scheduled for Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14. Only volunteer firefighters and exempt firefighters are eligible to bowl in this tournament.

It is not necessary to belong to an organized fire department or fire company team; any five firefighters can enter a team.

There is no limit as to the number of teams a department or company may enter, but no individual may bowl more than twice in this tournament.

In addition to prize money and a three-leg trophy, there will be a permanent trophy to the winning team.

The tournament will be held at North Levittown Lanes, Schoolhouse Road in Levittown. The lanes are just north of Hempstead Turnpike.

Saturday's tournament will take place from 4:30 tod 7:30 p.m. and Sunday's times are 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
