Community Council Announces Best Dressed Holiday Homes
The Levittown Community Council (LCC) recently announced the winners in the Annual Home for the Holidays Contest. This is the third year that the LCC has held this contest throughout the community, and according to LCC President Louise Cassano, it was harder than ever this year to select just one home from each quadrant.

Heavy Damage in Fire
A Levitt ranch was heavily damaged in a fire Friday morning, Jan. 11. The alarm originally was received by dispatcher Mike Antonucci for an electrical fire at the side of the home, which was followed by the switchboard lighting up and numerous calls for a house fire.

Salk Boosts MacArthur Wrestling Toward Another Championship
MacArthur wrestling is off to another tremendous start. The Generals stand undefeated in dual meets and have been crowned champions in the past four tournaments. The Mid-Hudson, the Suffern, the Bethpage and the MacArthur Tournaments.

Island Trees Holds J.V. Wrestling Tournament
The Ted Petersen J.V. Wrestling Tournament was held on Thursday, Dec. 27 with ten teams participating. The tournament is dedicated to the great Ted Petersen, who coached at Island Trees for over 30 years. Ted Petersen was a big fan of the J.V. Wrestler and this tournament is held in his honor.
