Thank you very much for your strong support of the Dec. 11 Bond Referendum (302 Yes votes to 76 No votes or 75 percent passing rate).

We did our best to keep all residents informed and knowledgeable about the need for the bond issue. At the Sept. 12 Board of Education meeting the superintendent presented complete details of the proposed bond issue. The Oct. 17 Open Forum Bond Information meeting was held to answer any and all questions. Finally, the Bond Referendum Newsletter was mailed to all residents in November to "once again" detail the projects and remind the residents of the date and time of the vote.

Now that the bond is passed, we pledge to you that we will work closely with our district administrators, bond counsel and architect, to make sure the $3,500,000 is spent wisely and the special projects are completed in a timely manner.

Thank you again for your support! We will continue to work hard to justify your confidence.
