At the MacArthur Holiday Tournament, the Generals repeated as champions for the fourth straight year. They doubled second place Suffern High School's score and tripled the rest of the field. The tournament consisted of many tough teams including rivals Wantagh, Division and Garden City High Schools.

Matt Delorenzo, Gian Villante, Joe Vasold, Rob Stubbs, Adam Molano and James Strouse all finished as tournament champions. Bruce Popho and Brent O'Donnell finished as runner-ups. Third place finishers Max Reitmayr, Dylan Reitmayr, TJ Lazarus, Ed Loscalzo and John Finnerty finished with the Bronze. Keith Meredith, Brian First, Evan Schantz, John Calvacca, Nick Tintle, Steve Mazzioti and Mark Manz all wrestled good tournaments.

Coach Greenblatt wants to invite all MacArthur wrestling alumni to the Annual Alumni Match which will take place on Saturday, Dec. 22. MacArthur will wrestle top ranked Farmingdale High School. The ceremony and match will be wrestled at 2 p.m. The post match will be held at the MVP Cafe in Bethpage at 5 p.m. If any alumni's believe the school does not have their address, please call Barbara Kegel at 796-0280 with the information.
