Local School Districts Pass Bond Issues
The Levittown and Island Trees School Districts each passed bonds this and last week for capital improvement projects to take place in their schools in the near future.

Lady Dragons Win Awards
This year at the Nassau County Girls' Soccer Coaches Association's annual awards dinner, four young ladies from Division Avenue High School were honored. Jamie Meditz and Courtney Schmaeling both were selected to the All-Conference Team. Courtney is a sophomore striker who led the Lady Dragons in goals this season. Jamie is a senior captain and the backbone of the Blue Dragon Defense.

MacArthur Wrestling Repeats as Champions
At the MacArthur Holiday Tournament, the Generals repeated as champions for the fourth straight year. They doubled second place Suffern High School's score and tripled the rest of the field. The tournament consisted of many tough teams including rivals Wantagh, Division and Garden City High Schools.
