Memorial Services for Levittown FD Chief Ron Kerwin This Weekend
Friends, family members and fellow firemen will remember Levittown Fire Department Chief Ron Kerwin this weekend at memorial services to be held in Levittown and Merrick. Chief Kerwin lost his life heroically at the World Trade Center on Sept. 11 as a member of the New York City Fire Department's Squad 288. He was 42-years-old.

MacArthur wrestlers have begun their quest to repeat as Nassau County Champions. The Generals are currently ranked number one in Nassau County.

Division Ave. Wrestlers Begin Season
The winter season has begun and the Division Grapplers are in full force. The 2001-2002 team looks promising with a record number of over 50 recruits. Over half of the wrestlers are ninth-graders. The rest of the team includes some quality veterans. They are All-County Steve Indelicato, Chris Bennett and Chris Hagmaier. Qualifying place winners include: Chris Siraco, Sean Fagan, Joe Hoose, Dan Lanigan, Luis Fernandez, Bill Nobile and John Degrace. Other promising returnees include: Vince Chiarelli, Mike Davis, Jim Kinder and Phil Caccamo.
