The Boys Eighth-Grade Soccer Team finished with a strong season. Winning its last three games to finish its season with a total of four wins. One of the reasons the team was successful this year is because of the strong goaltending that was played by Paul Ramierez. Strong offense was played by Shane O'Leary, Jesus Hernandez, Chris Bauer, Ryan McDermott and Josh Ortiz, who provided the Wisdom Lane team with their goals. Strong defense was played by Craig Jerkowich, Matt Ferrante, Sean Moran, John Scalia, Alex Vronin and Bob Howard.
The Wisdom Lane Wildcats Seventh-Grade Soccer Team had another successful season. Excellent balance on both sides of the ball led the cats to several victories. The strength of the team was the spectacular goaltending provided by John Ballantyne and Roger Clement. Their hard work and leadership kept Wisdom in many games.
Defensively, the Wildcats were led by Michael Sudo, Nick Valinto and Garrett Einerman. This trio of defenders played unselfishly and were relentless in their pursuit of the opposing team. Continued improvement of this group means trouble for years to come.
Offensively, the foursome of Thomas Adair, Chris Moreiera, Ryan Nagelberg and Camron Einerman kept the Cats competitive. Consistent pressure and good instincts made this a solid unit. With further development, this has tremendous potential.
