Town of Hempstead Election Results
Town of Hempstead Supervisor Rich Guardino was re-elected Tuesday night, enabling him to continue his work in the town, particularly the chance to continue working closely with his constituents. Guardino, who ran against Democrat Kevin Gorman, received 93, 946 votes. Gorman received 69, 193 votes.

The Yours, Ours, Mine (YOM) Community Center in Levittown recently celebrated with members of the community at the groundbreaking ceremony of a new sensory garden and community courtyard outside the center. The sensory garden's purpose is to give all residents of the community, particularly those with limited senses, something to enjoy and something of which they can be proud.
