The Island Trees School District held a public session last Wednesday, Oct. 17 regarding a proposed bond to refurbish areas within the district. The board of education voted on Oct. 24 to decide whether or not to ask residents of the Island Trees School District to vote on the bond in December. This season finds the Division Avenue Girls Varsity Soccer Team in a rebuilding year. After a very successful season last year the Lady Dragons saw the graduation of six seniors many of whom were four-year varsity starters. Two key members of that class were Tori Blank and Chivon Noonan. Both these young ladies now attend and start for Molloy College. FULL STORY
