Irene Conforti, of Levittown, died on Sept. 7, 2001. Wife of the late Joseph. Mother of Joseph and Sheryl Conforti and Lori and Anthony Marenda. Grandmother of Joseph and Matthew. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Levittown Chapel. Religious service. Interment Calverton National Cemetery. Brian A. Cowell, of East Meadow, died on Sept. 9, 2001. Son of Thomas and Lynne. Brother of Amanda. Grandson of Hazel and Thomas Cowell Jr. and the late Daniel and Joyce Sauvigne. Nephew of Rusty Sauvigne, Doris Hoell, Debra Vaillant and Bill and Mille Ernst. Brian is also survived by the entire Brady family. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Levittown Chapel. Prayer service with Rev. Thomas J. McCarthy officiating. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Paul William Jurgens, of Levittown, died on Sept. 11, 2001. He was a Port Authority Police Officer. Beloved husband of Maria. Loving father of Paul Jr., June and Lindsay. Devoted brother of Peter, Alice Sheldon and Patricia Pirretti. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Levittown Chapel. Memorial Mass at St. Bernard RC Church.
